Life has a way of confusing us and enlightening us all the same. Sometimes I feel as lost as anyone, while at other times deeply connected to some type of internal motivation and direction. I am interested in expanding my perspective through meeting open minded and positive souls. We spend our time building up our skillset, our social resumes, looking to one-up ourselves at every opportunity, but what is the ultimate root motivation? For me I want to avoid superficial goals and focus on cultivating productive relationships and dynamically linked communities/families. I think amerikkka can be disruptive to the mind in many ways so I am always looking for ways to free my mind from programmed ideaologies I have grown up with. Although this all may sound a bit…. Cynical? I truly am a positive person and my friends describe me as laidback and peacefull. I read a mixture of political non-fiction, mysticism, Classic lit, and whatever else intrigues me. I have my own forms of escapism; Music first and foremost. Isn't that the case for us all? Music is the vibration of life, the one entity that binds us all, through rhythm and dance. Film is another love of mine. From Kurosawa to Jarmusch, Kiarostami to Godard, I dig it all. I am taking my shot at photography. I have an amazing camera and I continue to progress day by day, finding new ways to express my thoughts and ideas.
